About Me

Computer Science student at the University of Hull

Hi, I'm Roshan. I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Hull and I like building software that is small, useful, and actually gets shipped.

Most of my work sits somewhere between product engineering, tooling, and experiments. I enjoy working across the stack, especially when the job calls for a practical mix of TypeScript, Python, APIs, and infrastructure.

What I build

This site is where I write about code, tools, and the things I learn while building. Outside the blog, I spend most of my time on side projects that help me get better at designing, shipping, and maintaining software end to end.

How I work

I prefer direct solutions over elaborate systems, and I care a lot about making interfaces feel clear and intentional. That usually means starting small, keeping changes reviewable, and letting the work earn its complexity instead of assuming it needs it up front.
